pukekolive Posted April 29, 2015 #1 Share Posted April 29, 2015 I am following travelinsubman and circumnavigatingeurope blogs of current cruisers with great interest, being booked for Venice to Istanbul next March 18. A new blog will be starting on Saturday 2 May when Avid will be joining for two segments, changing traveller in the middle: Viking Star May 2 - 8, 2015 Ralph,Preview, Barcelona to Lisbon Upper Premium Viking Star May 12 - 18, 2015 Aaron, Christening Cruise: London to Bergen, Norway Upper Premium I'm not sure what class of stateroom they mean by 'Upper Premium'. If anyone else reading this on Star has a blog, please let us know where to find it.

jlp879 Posted May 8, 2015 #11 Share Posted May 8, 2015 It looks like Ralph Grizzle of the Avid Cruiser blog got off the Star in Lisbon and posted a tour of the ship and review here: http://www.avidcruiser.com/2015/05/08/viking-star-day-6-lisbon-portugal-end-of-a-journey-summing-up-viking-star/ There is a photo tour of his Penthouse Verandah room under Day 4 and the Introductory video tour on Day 5 has a shot of a regular Verandah room.
