snoodqueen Posted May 3, 2015 #4 Share Posted May 3, 2015 I wish they would have more 'true' 14 day cruises instead of returning to the home port after 7 days. Also, some new Caribbean itineraries would be great. Princess Cays is nice but let's shake it up a bit!:)

Also, some new Caribbean itineraries would be great. Princess Cays is nice but let's shake it up a bit!:) Agreed! Once or twice a year they should go to lesser-traveled ports, all in a 11-14 day cruise. Would be a fantastic way to see some new sights.

BratDet Posted May 3, 2015 #7 Share Posted May 3, 2015 cruises out of NY/NJ again..I loved the 9 day Carib cruises... I do not count the Canada cruises, because they start too late in September for me to able to go...I'd be able to do it if it was August... . or sail out of Baltimore/Boston..I miss driving to port. Potstech Posted May 3, 2015 #8 Share Posted May 3, 2015 (edited) Cruise out of some mid atlantic port like Baltimore or Norfolk. Go back to cruising out of Puerto Rico again. With the price of flights being so high it would be great to drive to ports instead of flying. Loved the idea of a 3 hour drive to Baltimore to take a Carnival cruise. Hate flying to Florida for one. chsalas Posted May 3, 2015 #14 Share Posted May 3, 2015 cruise out of Port of Baltimore. I also wish they would completely go anytime dining in all the dinning room and only have a limited number of traditional. It seems everyone is doing traditional so why waste all that resource for it if no one is using it.
KruzPrincess Posted May 3, 2015 #15 Share Posted May 3, 2015 I know some people have mentioned some of these things, but I'll repeat some. 1) Replace the horrible balcony furniture with comfortable balcony furniture. 2) Longer cruises that start and end in US ports. HAL has interesting long cruises (like the Voyage of the Vikings) that go to Europe which start and stop in the US. 3) True 14 day cruises that aren't B2B turnaround cruises. 4) I would love to count on having a comfortable mattress on my cabin. 5) Turn away Traditional diners who want to go to the Anytime MDR. skynight Posted May 3, 2015 #16 Share Posted May 3, 2015 *Remove "Princess Live" from the Royal and Regal and replace it with an open lounge similar to the Explorer's Lounge concept. *On the Royal and Regal close in the Horizon Ct. and use it for dining during the day and as a lounge for dancing and parties in the evening. *Sail from New York area ports. *Add true 14 day cruises. *Bring some Grand Class ships back to the Atlantic. *Have their lowest pricing for those who book earliest. It would be a good idea when these ships are put into drydock, that the Princess Live venue be swapped out for an Explorers' Lounge complete with stage and dance floor. After sailing on the Regal this past February, I will say that we missed the Explorers'Lounge and the covered, wrap around Promenade deck that is a feature of the Grand Class ships. I totally agree about sailing from the NYC area ports and offering the lowest fares to the earliest customers. Princess.are you reading these posts??? paul929207 Posted May 3, 2015 #24 Share Posted May 3, 2015 Just as an example, Princess has offered in the past: 14 day cruises between Fort Lauderdale and Manaus, Brazil. Doing a b2b, it is 28 days. Problem is only the Pacific and Ocean can do this (I think). 18 day TA from NYC to Dover. Round trip was 36 days. It was a northern crossing. 49 day circumnavigation of South America from FLL to SF. I think this is still offered.
