DOLPHIN ON THE GRAND

SANDEE

Recommended Posts

Your heading says Grand and with that in mind:

Dolphin deck cabins are mostly mini-suites whereas Caribe are balcony cabins. Minis are larger, have a sitting area and bathtub/shower combo instead of a very small shower stall.

Caribe balconies are larger than those on the higher decks (Baja, Aloha & Lido) and are partially covered. Dolphin balconies are completely open.

We have been on both decks on the Grand, and I would vote for the mini suite on Dolphin every time. The extra space in the cabin and the full bathroom (with a tub with shower in it and a much larger sink area) made all the difference for us. The balcony was plenty big enough, and although it is completely open, we never minded that. We have found that if we have a nice cabin, we do spend time there --- and some of our best memories are of times spent together in our mini suite.
