SAS21 Posted May 13, 2015 #1 Share Posted May 13, 2015 I have inquired with 2 companies, Blackberry Cars and Totally Driven. Prices are about 80 GBP difference for same trip, pickup at apartment in London and drop off at cruise terminal in Harwich. Without saying which company is the higher priced which should I choose based on experience some of you may have with these companies. Blackberry gets good reviews on Trip Advisor, where Totally Driven I can't seem to find much information on. Any help is appreciated.

sddsddean Posted May 13, 2015 #3 Share Posted May 13, 2015 (edited) You've got to allow 2 hours. Depends on day of the week and traffic, but its around 70 miles. Simon Edited May 13, 2015 by sddsddean
Bob++ Posted May 13, 2015 #4 Share Posted May 13, 2015 (edited) Tripadvisor has reviews of Totally Driven: http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/ShowTopic-g186338-i17-k3863289-Totally_Driven_Transfer_Service-London_England.html Well - they do but useless since very old. Some more here: http://www.reviewcentre.com/Airport-Transfers/Totally-Driven-www-totallydriven-co-uk-reviews_1798781 I am not sure how useful they are since we all know how these things can be manipulated. I would go for it but allow a good deal of what JB calls - wiggle room. Edited May 13, 2015 by Bob++
cougfan Posted May 14, 2015 #5 Share Posted May 14, 2015 Hi, For our 2012 Baltic cruise we used Blackberry car transfer to go from Harwich to London. We shared with another couple (found on our roll call), had them dropped off first and then us at the Hilton, Tower Hill. We paid 75 GBP per couple. The other couple set up the reservation, they were called just before the fellow showed up and we didn't have to pay until after we were dropped off. I felt it was a good deal. We took the train to Harwich at the beginning of the cruise.
lalawgirl Posted May 15, 2015 #6 Share Posted May 15, 2015 hi folks -- my family used totally driven last summer, first for LHR to London transport then London to Dover. Each time we received excellent service. I would recommend 100%. You can prepay on line for a small discount.

If you want reasonable and good service, consider taking the Cruise Train directly to the Terminal. We did so 2 years ago and it was WONDERFUL! No fuss and the train made 0 stops from London to Harwich Cruise Terminal. Hope this helps. Pinkie
