linrns Posted September 13, 2005 #1 Share Posted September 13, 2005 We have sailed with RCCL and are crown and anchor members. We booked our first cruise with Celebrity for the panama canal. Will we ge any benefits for being crown and anchor members?
Pradagal Posted September 13, 2005 #2 Share Posted September 13, 2005 We are also C&A members and were told you don't get benefits. You have to join the Celebrity's Club. Like the C&A club can join after your first cruise, tjis is our first Celebrity cruise as well. I think it's silly since they are owned by RCCI.Oh well I guess we will join their club as well. caviargal Posted September 13, 2005 #3 Share Posted September 13, 2005 What level are you? I am Diamond Plus and was automatically issued a Captain's Club number as Elite level. I am on Mercury next month and will receive the full benefits of a CC Elite member. These are worthwhile, while not as generous as C&A.
chessbriar Posted September 13, 2005 #4 Share Posted September 13, 2005 Once you have completed 5 cruises on RCCL you will get recipricating benefits on X, but not until then and they all have to be on RCCL. If you have 3 on RCCL and 2 on X, you will only get the benefits of 2 cruises on X.
kente Posted September 13, 2005 #5 Share Posted September 13, 2005 Miami - (January 01, 2005 ) - Celebrity Cruises and Royal Caribbean International have launched a new program offering members of their Loyalty programs Equivalent Recognition when they sail on either brand. Equivalent Recognition offers members of the top two tier levels of the programs the opportunity to sail on the sister brand and receive benefits based on their highest tier level between the brands. For example, an Elite Captain's Club member who sails onboard a Royal Caribbean ship will receive the benefits of a Diamond Crown & Anchor member and vise versa. Select/Elite Captain's Club members and Platinum/Diamond Crown & Anchor members who have never sailed on the sister brand can easily enroll in the sister's brands program at their equal tier by simply calling the Loyalty Call Center at 1 800 760-0654. The benefits of the two programs will stay independent and the number of sailing's a member has accrued on each brand will not be combined.
