Any Ruins close to port in Costa Maya and Cozumel

Baltimore Cruiser

Recommended Posts

We are cruising next year, and I want to book an excursion and am hoping I can fit in time to take in one of the ruins if it close enough to get to from the ship. I don't want to book ahead with this. It will only be if it is affordable for a family of four and again close proximity to the ship. We will be on Grandeur of Seas out of Baltimore.

Thanks

Hola BC,

In Coz you can take a taxi to San Gervasio. It is a small ruin near San Miguel. In Costa Maya I have heard of a good tour by Ivan, but I don't know how far it is from the pier. I'll be in Costa in Jan. and will know more when I get back.

The only problem I can see with David and Ivan's tours is that they will want you to reserve ahead of time. It is well worth it. The bus trip from Mahahual (fishing village 2miles from Costa Maya) is about 1 hour or so.

Hope this helps!

Gail
