simma Posted May 23, 2015 #4 Share Posted May 23, 2015 My wife and I were on the ship when this occurred. It was dealt with professionally with Captain Claus keeping everyone up to date via the PA. From his reports the fire was in the inlet to one of the incinerators in an isolated room and was quickly extinguished. From our point of view it was nothing to worry about. SkyStryker Posted May 24, 2015 #5 Share Posted May 24, 2015 I too am on the ship currently. It was so negligible, I didn't even know it happened until this post.
Over Land & Sea Posted May 24, 2015 #6 Share Posted May 24, 2015 Is my memory deceiving me or did a similar thing happen on the Quantum regarding a fire linked to the incinerator?

Yup ... we were on board at the time on the last night of the cruise. The captain woke us up to tell us about the fire, but there was no mention of free marsh mallows being handed out to those close to the fire.
