Beach and Bar

Are there any beaches with a bar on it or near in within walking distance of the port? Are there any activities you suggest for my older teens 17-18?

If you port at Mahogany Bay..this is what you will find, including beach and bar.

 

If you are porting in Coxen Hole, your best bet is to catch a ride to West End or West Bay. Though Sandy Bay is closer and one could have lunch and and about about on beach there.

 

Taxi prices are not regulated and vary widely. If you choose the taxi route negotiate round trip fair.

 

There are several zip lines on the island or if scuba is a interest take a discover course, Roatan's reef has world class diving.

Seems you're going to be there on a Carnival ship so will be docking in Mahogany Bay. There's a beach there (bar too) so you don't have to go elsewhere if you don't want to. :)
