Peeker28 Posted June 3, 2015 #1 Share Posted June 3, 2015 Looking into booking the Anthem for next summer. How does the iFly work? I read somewhere that you can only go on once, is that true? I am taking my 18 year old daughter and I'm pretty sure she will want to go more than once
138east Posted June 3, 2015 #2 Share Posted June 3, 2015 You can go on it once for free, but you can pay to go on more times. I don't remember the prices - once was enough for me!
TBone2K Posted June 3, 2015 #3 Share Posted June 3, 2015 It's kind like a tube over a giant propeller. I'm sure there are YouTube videos. I was curious if anyone has noticed a weight limit? The iFly in Toronto doesn't have a weight limit per se, but they charge extra for people over 230lbs.
CyberTag Posted June 4, 2015 #4 Share Posted June 4, 2015 We just got off a 16 day on the anthem, and we're only allowed once, for 1 minute.

I'm not sure about going more than once - the policy seems to keep changing.

papcx Posted June 18, 2015 #7 Share Posted June 18, 2015 Just got off Anthem. (13 June) You can only BOOK once. You can turn up and wait for a standby spot as often as you like. Just depends on how long your prepared to wait. I waited 2 minutes and 20 minutes to do standby. No additional charge.

ententecordiale Posted June 20, 2015 #10 Share Posted June 20, 2015 You were very lucky to be able to stand-by. This was not an option on the 10 day cruise. Maybe because it was shorter and during school hols, so very popular. They said that not everyone had managed to get a slot so stand by were given to these people. reggielew Posted October 19, 2015 #12 Share Posted October 19, 2015 Do children have to be a certain age or a certain weight to do the IFLY? Is it safe for a 5th or 6th grade child? I would appreciate any information that you can give me. Thanks!

kevinyork Posted October 19, 2015 #14 Share Posted October 19, 2015 We just got off a 13 night cruise. After day 7 you could book again, one booking at a time with a max of once per day. We did it 5 times and by the last few sessions the groups were not full.
