brickgirl Posted June 4, 2015 #1 Share Posted June 4, 2015 Looking at booking a flight out of New Orleans for 11:30 at the end of a cruise on the Dream. Is this reasonable? Have done it in Fort Lauderdale many times, but not sure about New Orleans. Thanks
welldone60 Posted June 4, 2015 #2 Share Posted June 4, 2015 If you are first off and everything goes perfect..yes. Personally I would not book a flight that early. It's about 15 miles to the airport and traffic can be a real pain.

Have done it in Fort Lauderdale many times, but not sure about New Orleans. Thanks Carnival recommends 11:30AM as the earliest flight time on debarkation day. The port is farther from the airport in NOLA than it is in Fort Lauderdale. If you do self assist debarkation and get off early you should be fine though. It is about 17 miles and takes around 45 minutes depending on traffic. http://www.carnival.com/cruise-transfers/new-orleans.aspx
