I have only been on one cruise and I did not use my purse at all while on the ship. Kept it in the safe except on exursions. I relied on my card the whole time. I only used my purse on the exursions. I had one that the strap was long enuff to cross in front of me and not worry about.

Hope this helps. :)

I bring a small evening purse for formal nights and nights we go to the speciality restaurant. Basically it's for lipstick and maybe a small pump hairspray depending on the up-do or not

On excursions I use a lanyard w/holds my ID, room key and credit card. Dh carries any cash

If I had casino plans, I carried a little tiny wallet on a string. Big enough for my card, money and chapstick. I just wear it over my neck/shoulder and it's perfect shore excursions too. If I'm just wandering about the ship, my card is hooked to a lanyard around my neck.

The seapass could fit in my pocket or ...ummm...bra...lol. Unfortunately, I need to carry a small purse for for reading glasses, camera, lipstick, cruise compass. I take the smallest purse possible. I hate carrying a purse on a cruise, but its heck getting older and needing glasses....LOL

On the ship, I do not carry a purse. I keep my key in my pocket, or my dh has his key, and we always know where the other is if we are not together. If I am going to the casino, I have a little bitty purse on a long strap that I might carry if I don't have shorts or jeans with pockets. On islands, I carry absolutely as little as possible, and if my dh can handle it in his pockets, that's the plan.

On formal nights, dh's suit has many inside pockets, and that's where my lipstick goes.

Otherwise, I'M FREE!!!

The truth is I stuff my room card in my bra. Now I said it. I am so ashamed. It is, however, the truth.

I'll be ashamed with you! :o That's where I ALWAYS carry my key card while onboard! I don't like being encumbered with unneccessary things in my hands to keep track of or straps over my shoulder.

I have a wallet on a string-type pouch that I carry during the day. Big enough for room key, chapstick, and powder. It’s made by Eddie Bauer, flat, and about 4”x6”. For every evening but formal, I skip the purse and use my husband’s pockets. I bring a little beaded evening bag for formal nights.
