Buccaneer Beach St. Maarten

Anyone have experience with the Buccaneer Beach excursion on St. Maarten? Is this one of RCI private islands?

No, it's not a private beach or island. RCI's "private" places are Coco Cay (Bahamas) and Labadee, (Haiti)

 

There is absolutely no reason to pay for a beach excursion! Beaches are easy to get to on your own!!! If you go to the "Caribbean" boards, and find St. Maarten, you'll get many, many ideas of things to do, and HOW to do them!!!

We took the water taxi over from port (roughly $20 for the four of us if I remember) Got 2 beach chairs $10 (kids don't need chairs) and a bucket of beer $20. We had a great day!

When you took the water taxi, what beach did you go to?

I am sorry, but I honestly don't remember. The Ship was always in view though if that helps.
