Carnival magic cove

we just booked two cove balconies on the magic. My one question is...... Do they allow u to open the partition between room if we have rooms next to each other. Or do they do it for you?

Ive read that it needs to be unlocked by the room steward.

I was told that they will not allow the dividers between coves to be open. That was when I was on Breeze last year. Each ship might be different or the person who told us didn't want to open the dividers.

SOME balcony dividers will open, some will not. Ask your room steward to open it. We were on the Magic 2 years ago and we opened it ourselves, but the room steward was not happy, so we just used it open when we were on the balcony and closed it up when we left the room.

 

We were in 2306 two weeks ago and those balcony doors can be opened,

we had 2310 and 2314 and the steward said he only was allowed to open the divider for us and he did! for a wonderfully huge balcony :)

We just booked those exact rooms for November 2016 after getting kicked off the Breeze! :)
