Offers received from Club Royale (Royal Caribbean)

I booked a cruise on the Liberty from Galveston, November 1st last week. On my last cruise (Adventure in December) I was with friends and did not gamble much. As a result my offers tanked. The best I could get for a casino discount was $300.00 off for the Liberty November cruise. I received the offer 20RBO101 (Jr Suite + 300 free play) this week and called today to see if I could apply that to my booked cruise instead of the $300 off. It took almost 2 hours of being on hold for someone to answer the original call and then another hour to get it applied..... but they did switch it out for me. Grand Suite original price with discount, including gratuities, taxes and fees was $3,117.18. After today's adjustment is was $1,419.18. Score! The only thing that was required was that I pay it in full today.

Good going. I have called the past 2 days. I would phone the casino booking number. 1/2 hour I would get normal reservation. They would say "hold on I have to transfer you to casino group". Friday was 1 1/2 hour lost. Today I phoned the normal casino instead number of their PRIME number as yesterday. In two minutes I had an answer. Normal reservations. They would have to transfer me to casino. One hour later I hung up.

I thought this should be easy. Take my May 9 cruise that RCCL cancelled and just re-book it for May 23.

This getting to be like the darn government.  BS !

I still have my PRIME cancelled cruise of Mar 29 to re-book. Of course it was cancelled March 13.

It might be early, but this is not looking good.

When I first booked this cruise last week,  I called the prime number and was on hold for over an hour.  When they answered and found out what I needed, they had to transfer me to the casino line which as another one hold.....  One thing I have figured out is the hold times are less if I hit 2 for booking a new cruise as opposed to 1, which is help with an existing cruise.  At least this has been my experience.

I did the same. New reservation option 2.

say does it seem the audio level of the reservationists is quite low ? The silly on hold advertising is plenty loud. However all but first answer today has been hard to hear.

I called last Sunday 2X to Royal, & to Carnival & got both low voices. But they could hear me well. I asked them to speak louder. Found out from the Carnival casino reservationist that its because they are now working from their homes, &  their own equipment is probably at a lower volume.

I am kind of disappointed that the Club Royale management has not but out anything.  I know a few Masters that lost their annual cruise and have not gotten any word on what they plan to do.   People have had cruises cancelled that were booked from certificates that they “earned”  that the management team is not addressing to anyone.   Some people are making plans for things later in the year, and carnival has been proactive with offers and I have even gotten some good offers from land based places.   Why is Royal being so quite?

Just went to  myofferscasinoroyale & noticed they put back my husband masters free cruise that was canceled for the end of March.  It says he has till May31'20 to book it.

I just checked my offers and when I scrolled down the page a noticed information at the bottom regarding cancelled casino cruises.  I've copied and pasted the info below.  While there is nothing specific, they do note that they are reviewing all of the current offers and program status including all of the current cancellations.

At Royal Caribbean International, we maintain our unwavering commitment to ensure the health and safety of our guests, crew, and surrounding communities. The decision was made on March 13, 2020 to voluntarily globally suspend our sailings, and our goal is to resume operations on May 12, 2020. For our Singapore departures on June 1, 2020, our Alaska sailings on July 1, 2020 and for sailings originating or ending in Canada on July 1, 2020.

As one of our most valued Club Royale guests, we want to express how much we appreciate your business, and how grateful we are for your loyalty to Royal Caribbean. We understand that many of our Club Royale guests had cruise vacations planned this month and regret that the choices we have had to make has caused interruptions to your plans. We are reviewing our current Club Royale offers and Rewards program status to ensure that you will be able to continue to enjoy your benefits when sailing with us in the future.

We understand that you have questions around your Club Royale Rewards status during this time and we will communicate details to you in the near future around our plans.

On behalf of Royal Caribbean International, we thank you for your support and patience during this unprecedented time.

I have two offers that showed up, one of which has been discussed here and in the main Royal Caribbean forum.

The 20RBO101 is good for any Caribbean cruise on any ship (except Odyssey of the Seas) for any sailing (except those including Christmas or New Year's Day).

I don't yet know what the 20EUR101 is yet. I've got a Mediterranean cruise booked for October, so I wonder whether it would work for that.

Given the current nature of Royal Caribbean's sailings, these seem just a bit aspirational. 🙂

Lol, yes they do.  Please keep posting.  I keep hoping they will do something for Australian players.

two items. I got my May cruise date changed. All the while the rep's phone call went up and down. Eventually got to where could not hear me. I even tried two phones on my end. We still had business to conduct.

Then i get email news...Gov DeSantis of Florida has SE Florida on stay home till Mid-May. Well there goes Miami, Key West, and Ft Lauderdale any time soon for sailing.

Oh and Oasis of Seas had 51 crew test positive.

Now that April 1 has come & gone-will the Casino Royale be busy looking at everyone's play history to put in their new categories for Ap1'20-Mar31'21??

They should just give a 2nd year of the same, also cause many didnt want or couldnt cruise in March'20,  to better their play.  Easier on them, that they only need to look at new players.

I was told by a few different reps that those that had cruises booked for the last two weeks of March, will have their account looked at for their tier for next year.  I'm guessing they will see an average play and add those points to see if you will reach the next tier.  I'm Signature and had a cruise booked the last week of March.  I am short about 2,000 points to get to SIgnature again for next year.  I would have easily reached the 2,000 points on the cruise that was canceled.  I hope they will take that into consideration.

Yep,  we had back to back on the Adventure the last 2 weeks of March.  Oh well! But still had a great time on the Mar 8-15  Oasis.

Wow,  they're giving us 2 years at same tier till Mar'22!!   We would 've gone down to signature.  Hope not too many more months of cruises are canceled.

Bet that pissed off the people that spent the money to make it to their level.  They should give the ones that had made it until 2023.

Previously status was only for one year.  Now everyone gets two years. That’s a win for everyone.
