Ah, good info here. Thank you Graham for posting on that other thread - it led me here. I didn't realize the survey came from CR but that certainly makes sense.

Marc - would you mind letting me know who the casino host is when you get back from Liberty? I'm hoping it's the same guy from our 5/29 sailing. I can't remember his name! I guess if they are basing the drink sticker and comps on the last cruise, we'll be fine this time.

And yes - all the brand questions seemed to be a way to figure out how and where we spend our money and to get an idea if we are Cracker Barrel or Morton's people. :D

At least they are asking the CR about the smoking issue instead of random people who probably don't even go in the casino. We get it - smoking is bad. Go on Celebrity and gamble. ;)

Mrs Wolf

You are welcome, we are safe here from Troy LOL:)

It is our only remaining sanctuary from the tireless rants of smoking in the casino.

Happy Days!

I appreciate it. He was a really nice guy, very visible in the casino. If he saw me, he would always stop and say hello. He offered mid week to book us in a specialty restaurant but we had already been and didn't feel the need to go again. But if you want some perks, he's very accessible.

A safety zone. :D That's not his only rant. He seems to be one of those that just likes to bicker and grouch at anyone and anything. Griping about people holding suites! ranting about the lounges. and the list goes on....

I think a few of us have his number:D

He sure is excitable, that is a given.

Just noticed we get off Liberty day you get on

Will keep the BJ hot for you and let you know of any hot slots, will remember the machine numbers for you.

Make sure you leave a royal flush on the UTH table for Mr Wolf. he needs one. Sorry we'll miss you.

I'll be sat at 3rd base if we play UTH, will let the dealers know he will be coming

and to make sure they paint it Royal for him.

I am overdue one too, been awhile.

I am sure our paths will cross at a poker table on the seas one day;)

I went to see Christina, the casino host on Anthem, and received a $500 certificate towards a future cruise within the next year. The cruise needs to be booked with CR within the next 4 weeks or the certificate is null and void. She confirmed that 2400 points is for an interior room, but we would have had to cruise by January 2017, which we weren't able to do.

What you can tell about Cristina?

Also did she offer you on board like....would you like to to the Italian restaurant? or Would you like to go to the spa?

Did she stopped by while you playing and cheer?

We weren't offered anything, but she was in the casino watching points.

Alla - you going on the Anthem again? In August when we were on Christina had just started on Anthem as host. She was very nice and accommodating. She is supposed to be on 4 months.

On a very recent call with CR, the way it has been explained to me - dinners, spa will come out of your playing points and not be deducted from the offers you will receive from CR or a cruise certificate you may receive from on board casino host.

We received the free offer of an Ocean View cabin on Empress from Casino Royale along with many others. I am not a VIP member although we do gamble daily. The rep when I booked said that we would receive free drinks while gambling. Does anyone know if that is true? I'm hearing conflicting information.

Just back from Explorer last week. When I received my bill at the end of the cruise, a few hundred dollars had been deducted because of my casino play. Is that something new? I don't recall ever receiving a deduction before. I also received a certificate for a free balcony room and some cash back in the casino on the last night.

Canuck, that is great! Wondering how much play we need to get those offers. We both gamble daily on slots for a few hours, $2.00 avg bet. Not sure that will get us any credits or offers, but sure would be nice.

There seems to be a new host on here. I think her name is Sladana.

As the other post in this forum said, the onboard comps from the host are basically gone. I'm very disappointed in Club Royale now.

Another note: she said that it takes just 1,000 points to earn a VIP sticker with no cash advance fee and free drinks.

In talking with a "new person" at CR, inquiring about casino rate for second cabin on one of my sailings. She said I could only get casino rate on the second cabin if MY cabin was comped. In this case I had $800 casino certificate so it was not comped. Therefore I was not allowed to get a second cabin at casino rate! Wow that's weird. She said this is something new.

Nick, this must be a fairly new change. When I booked August 22 for our Harmony cruise in 2017 without using a comp cruise, I was able to book my daughter and her husband at the casino rate.
