What kind of cabin did you good for the tax day cert, Freedom in Sept?  My hubby has that offer and are trying to decide on dates before we call.

Midship interior, deck 9. Was going to go Promenade,  but almost all of them are connected.  No bruno.

Got a good deal today.  We originally booked a summer sizzle promo my husband got and paid a little to upgrade to a Jr Suite on the Liberty 8/25 (Galveston is about a 3 hr drive).  Well after we booked that we both got a Beer promo for the same date but Allure and my mom also got the offer and wanted to book that for her and my dad.  We called today to see if we could change to the Beer promo and they did that combining my & my husbands offer, still got a Jr Suite on the Allure and now get back $700!  Of course we now have to fly to FLL and stay the night before but newer ship and better itinerary.

Check your offers online frequently you never know what may show up.

Hello, I know I should know the answer to this question but I am having a brain freeze.  I received my complimentary cruise it says it expires 4/30/19.  My question is do I have to book and take the cruise by end of year or can I book the cruise for next year.

If you are referencing a free cruise certificate that you received onboard, you have 30 days to book and the booked cruise has to be within one year of the certificate issuance date.  The free cruise certificates are only good for the cruises listed on the back of the certificate or for the alternate trade-in cash value off of any other cruise within the same redemption window.

Thank you so much.  I was wondering about the royal club offer that I saw online.  I've been reading about it and decided to check.  I have a few offers, just not sure if I decide to use one I must sail by year end.

My Agent checked on repricing one of our Star Class cruises for next year as one of our free Prime cruises.  While they did not offer the generous 60% discount that we got on ALL of our comp cruise upgrades this past year, they did offer about a 35% discount, which is at once, disappointing and then at the same time, better than I have been hearing about, here on this site.  So it's a bit of good and bad news, I guess.  I am going to look into repricing another of our SC cruises and see if the results are similar.

When you say agent, do you mean Casino cruise agent? I’ve tried with an outside agent once, but never again. There’s no benefit and every time I want to reprice or get info, she’d have to call and speak to a casino rep anyway. Also I almost felt bad about wasting her time every time I wanted to reprice.

I see when you use a comp cruise you get it at a larger discount as well when you upgrade. The dollar off just applies to the standard published fares.. which sucks because it’s hardly worth it.

We got a second set of Summer Sizzle offers today - it is the same as last time with the same sailings but is in addition to the first offer which we already used.

We did too but I don't see a list anywhere do you have one?

It's the same code as the first offer.  I doubt if you can use it twice.  Probably another Royal IT mistake.

Apparently not. I called and they told me if was a second offer.  Hubby and I are booked now on the 1st offer on the Liberty with a free interior by combining our first summer sizzle offers.  I am going to call and see if I can get it switched to a B2B on the Majesty using our 4 offers.  I will report back

Summer Sizzle original list was better

I wish it had more than the one 7 day sailing.

We have decided against the B2B on Majesty and are staying with Liberty so can't use this second offer.

Are you allowed to switch?

Yes but we decided not to and just stay with the one sailing on a Freedom class.  We have never been on anything smaller than Freedom class on RCL and I think I will find the Majesty too small.  I am picturing it close to the Carnival Ecstasy/Paradise which I hated.  We will start trying the smaller ones when we move down to FL after we retire and can take shorter cruises 🙂

Just got a Summer Sizzle offer in the mail.  DH got one too.  There was a 5 night Grandeur to Bermuda that I booked solo. First time I have seen one of these special mail offers for Baltimore.  Total cost $157.  That is the kind of pricing that I like!  Pinnacle here I come!  (Actually, 50 more points to go.).

I booked Summer Sizzle II for Laura. Totally didnt expect it to work. 4 night Mariner $140 with tips.

It's back on mine as well. Is it the same sailings as the first Summer Sizzle? I see it is the same code.
