My prime shows Mar 31, 2022. Then I still have the the old one must take by Mar 31, 2021.

Yes the Prime that shows an expiration of March 2022, was extended by a year.  In normal times that would have expired March 2021.   Being they extended the benefit by a year, I don't think they are planning on issuing another free cruise in March 2021, especially if you didn't earn the points 4/1/20-3/31/21.

Right you are Gayle. Pretty hard to earn anything since we have been NO SAIL since mid-March.

I was told end of June when I booked one our of prime freebies for March 2021 that we would receive another prime freebie April 2021 but could not book that one yet - have to wait till April 2021 to book it.    She seemed very confident in what she told me.    but we know we have all gotten different answers with different CS reps.     Time will tell.    I'm not worried about a freebie for 4/21 to 3/22 .    Their marketing team will do whatever they can to get us casino players onto their ships once they are up and sailing.

The Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) has announced it will be extending its voluntary suspension of U.S. cruise operations for all member lines until at least October 31, 2020. CLIA member lines include some of the world's largest brands, including all Carnival Corporation & plc lines, Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings' brands and Royal Caribbean

There goes another booking. Bye bye.

Yeah, another one for us also -  our 15 nite Hawaii casino deal, on Carnival Miracle. Oh well.

Well, I’m going to keep the faith that you are correct !  While I’m sure we will be getting plenty of Club Royale offers, I need the “generic” freebie so that I can convert some of my 2021-2022 Star Class cruises. I will hold out hopes.

I booked the 20Variable302 offer today.  Was able to snag a grand suite on the Allure in August '21 for under $1400 (upgraded from free balcony, which would have been a boardwalk balcony).

I also rebooked our free JS on the Mariner - moved everything from September to January.  They are still holding firm on Feb. 28 sailing date for a rebooked comp cruise (not the annual one).  We shall see if we are sailing by then.

Got my cancelled Oct 25 moved to Liberty Feb 21. I do hope they open up some future dates farther out. Next up for cancel is Nov 14 a JS. I don't think I will book any new offers. My old ones keep getting moved !

Not only do we need the sailing to resume. We need the ports open. Many are closed.

The Caymans are at Dec 15 for possible open.

At this point I would be ready for a 3 or 4 night cruise to anywhere or nowhere as long as the casino is open.  :classic_biggrin:

  • 3 weeks later...

I thought some here might comment on another offer. Last week I got R20CGL. With two bookings likely to cancel in next few months. I won't do anything with the offer.

I need to see some cruising and the hoops that will need to be jumped.

I don’t recall the offer number, but received a couple of email offers.  Most of the sailings were out of Bayonne.

I got a "Close to Home" offer 20CNE that included  about 30 sailings all out of Bayonne. April-September on 3 different ships - Oasis, Freedom and Anthem, with $200 FP. The best offer I ever received from the casino.  Usually they don't include Bayonne sailings.

I just checked and I have the 20CNE402 (balcony) offer for Bayonne sailings and $200 FP.  I agree its the best I've seen. It's good through September 10th.

Mine were all out of Galveston. Only offered me 100 FP !  If masks might be required ? I have a thought. If asymptomatic. That is not sick, no coughing,  sneezing, running nose, and forbid fever. How can one spread it with or without a mask ?

Well, I booked another one.  The Close to Home offer was too good to pass up.  Booked a three night on the Mariner for September 2021.  Free JS and $200 in free play.

Depending on when cruising actually starts back up, we may have to cancel some.  So far, we have two bookings for this year, and six for next.

We both got the close to home offers out of bayonne.  We are pretty much in the middle of bayonne and baltimore.  Curious if anyone got offers for baltimore?

We are looking at doing a b2b on freedom for 9 night canada and 5 night bermuda cruise.   Combined this would cost over $5000.  Nice to get that for free.

So far our best casino offer is our 12 night anthem sailing for December.  Hopeful but doubtful it will happen.

Well I could not control myself. I phoned in just now and booked my balcony LOS Sep 26, 2021 for the $228 tax and port fees. If we don't sail by Sept next year ? Things are really bad.

Agreed.  I am hopeful for my March cruise, but doubtful on those in November to February.  We shall see.
