Yazoo cruiser Posted June 22, 2015 #1 Share Posted June 22, 2015 we are celebrating our 50th anniversary in Sept. On the dream, and I am looking for something unique to surprise my wife. this will be our 80th cruise, so we are experienced cruisers. however I need some help coming up with some ideas. Has anyone ever hired a ship's photographer to take some different pictures from the regular ones offered. If so, about how much do they charge. Any other suggestions for surprises will be appreciated. Thanks for any help.

Singer4Him Posted June 22, 2015 #4 Share Posted June 22, 2015 How about renewing your vows? First of all, Congratulations on 50 years of marriage! That's quite an accomplishment in today's society!! I was going to say the same thing about renewing your vows. If you could swing it, it would probably be nice to do that AND also the photographer. Another possibility would be doing a B2B but with 80 cruises under your belt, you've probably done one or two of those before. ;) BTW, you're just up the highway from me. I'm in Vicksburg. SunnydayKim Posted June 22, 2015 #5 Share Posted June 22, 2015 Congratulations on 50 years! We did the photo package and the pictures turned out great. We met at an assigned time and took about 45 minutes taking family pictures all over the ship. We only ended up purchasing 4 as it was an unplanned expense. They are very expensive, but really great pictures. I think they had different packages in the $300+ range. Individual pictures were $35 a piece I believe. There was no fee for the booking. Have fun! SunnydayKim Posted June 22, 2015 #6 Share Posted June 22, 2015 (edited) Another idea, and this one is really cheesy but I would love it! Do a scavenger hunt that you make up on the cruise. Since you all have cruised so often you could do things like, go to the place we (insert fun cruising memory here). It would take a bit of effort but it could be a fun walk down cruising memory lane :) Kim Edited June 22, 2015 by SunnydayKim using phone to respond = autocorrect
