Golden - PC Dining Rooms?

We've never been on the larger Princess ships with two PC dining rooms. On the Golden, which we cruise on in October, there is the Donatello, on the Fiesta Deck, and the Bernini, on the Plaza Deck. Does Princess assign us to one of those two dining rooms when we get on? If we get to select the dining room for each meal is there any reason to select one of these dining rooms over the other?

Is the decor different or does anyone have a recommendation for a particular waiter -- those types of comments might help!

You may use either Bernini or Donatello with PC dining on Golden. The only dining room assignment on Golden is Canaletto for traditional dining. The dinners served in Bernini and Donatello are identical. The decor is very similar. So the only difference is the dining room staff.

We found a waiter we liked in Bernini, Ishtan from Hungary. Without asking for him we were seated in his area for three of the four nights we ate in Bernini.
