PegasusGM Posted February 24, 2017 #26 Share Posted February 24, 2017 We drink non-alcohol wine. It irks me to pay $25-35 for an $8 bottle of wine. I hope to bring some on board for consumption in our cabin.

Gardendog Posted February 26, 2017 #29 Share Posted February 26, 2017 We just returned from a 7 day Marina cruise. We brought 5 bottles of wine and 1 bottle of bourbon in our small roll on suitcase. There was no discussion at check in. We took 4 nice bottles of wine to dinner and paid for corkage. The last bottle of wine and the bourbon we consumed in the state room. There was quite a bit of bourbon left, so that got packed up and shipped home in the checked luggage, and the bottle did not break.

StanandJim Posted February 27, 2017 #33 Share Posted February 27, 2017 Re the included soft drinks-does Oceania have ginger beer? They typically carry Ginger Ale. You may request other, more specific soft drinks through your Travel Agent..

Csardas Posted February 27, 2017 #35 Share Posted February 27, 2017 Thanks both for the replies. I'll send an email to the TA. Being an American line, I could really flummox them and ask for Irn Bru too!! (Scottish soft drink-tag line is "Made in Scotland from girders")

bisabella Posted February 28, 2017 #38 Share Posted February 28, 2017 Yes, they don't differentiate. So if you bring a 1.5 liter on board, will they store it over a few nights if it isn't consumed on 1 or 2 nights?
Gogie Posted February 28, 2017 #39 Share Posted February 28, 2017 So if you bring a 1.5 liter on board, will they store it over a few nights if it isn't consumed on 1 or 2 nights? Yes, they will store it and they will retrieve it for you for dinner on following evenings regardless of which restaurant you dine in.
Rare ronrick1943 Posted February 28, 2017 #40 Share Posted February 28, 2017 It's really no problem, and the N/A wine is good if you buy a good one.
