bradboy Posted July 12, 2015 #1 Share Posted July 12, 2015 I've been joking that I'm staying the night in a hammock in Serenity since we have 5 in a cabin. Anyone ever done this before?
Elaine5715 Posted July 12, 2015 #2 Share Posted July 12, 2015 Yes, people have both intentionally and accidentally. Security may ask you to leave. You will wake up wet from sea spray.

Out to sea! Posted July 12, 2015 #4 Share Posted July 12, 2015 I've seen people (usually the hubby) sleeping in a clam shell at 4 in the morning on the Sunshine Serenity.
True Texan Posted July 12, 2015 #5 Share Posted July 12, 2015 We are early risers and have seen people sleeping not only on Serenity deck but on deck chairs on Lido early in AM. Watched morning crew ask them to leave. Not only on Carnival, I have also seen this on RCCL.
tiffy0428 Posted July 12, 2015 #6 Share Posted July 12, 2015 What happens when you want to watch the sunrise? What time are people allowed to go out and lay on the deck?
Elaine5715 Posted July 12, 2015 #7 Share Posted July 12, 2015 What happens when you want to watch the sunrise? What time are people allowed to go out and lay on the deck? You are allowed at anytime if deck chairs are out.
Out to sea! Posted July 12, 2015 #8 Share Posted July 12, 2015 What happens when you want to watch the sunrise? What time are people allowed to go out and lay on the deck? You can go onto deck any time you want, day or night. And there are no rules against sleeping on deck either. It just makes it harder for the cleaning crew to do their job in the wee hours of the morning which is why it is discouraged (sleeping on deck). volmoma Posted July 12, 2015 #10 Share Posted July 12, 2015 You know I've never thought about sleeping on the serenity but I'd like to try it just for the sound of the ocean. Maybe not so much in a hammock I'd be afraid I'd fall out!!! LOL

love my grandkids Posted July 12, 2015 #12 Share Posted July 12, 2015 We have gone up there late to look at stars but usually too bright to see very well. If darker could see us falling asleep for some hours.
Elaine5715 Posted July 12, 2015 #13 Share Posted July 12, 2015 Sea spray on deck 11? Yep, not splash from waves...just sea damp that's why they wipe down every one in the morning.
