New2cruise1483 Posted July 12, 2015 #1 Share Posted July 12, 2015 We are going to be on the Advenutre for our first RCI cruise in September and just want to clarify a few things on the perks. 1) Is there reserved seating at the shows for suite guests, or should O precook them? 2) I understand that we don't need tickets for the ice show anymore, but do they have reserved seating for suites there as well? 3) Is there priority embarkation/disembarkation in ports and on the first and last days? That's all I have for now, thanks for any input:D

ColoradoGurl Posted July 13, 2015 #3 Share Posted July 13, 2015 (edited) As Bob said, no pre"cooking" on Adventure. No cooking period, as all your meals are made for you ;) All kidding aside, you can't pre-book anything on adventure (I think that's just for the Oasis class and quantum class ships). I don't know anything about suite perks cause I've never sailed in one, nor do I ever plan to, lol. I did notice on other voyager class ships that they had a special roped off area on the pool deck. FloatMe Posted July 13, 2015 #7 Share Posted July 13, 2015 Problem is half the ship is on priority line Very true. Although, in April we got to the pier at 10:55 and we were second in the priority boarding line while there were several hundred in the general boarding line. Some day we slow down embarkation day , have a nice lunch on land and arrive at the ship later in the afternoon, but we are always too excited to get on board! alfaeric Posted July 13, 2015 #8 Share Posted July 13, 2015 Problem is half the ship is on priority line A priority line, yes, not THE proper priority line. The Suite line is pretty tough to see- there's a late split between the gold-diamond boarding line and a suite-Pinnacle line to the left of that one. We knew it was there, but still had to have someone show us where the real end of it was a week ago Saturday. Best bet- ask someone for the suite line. There IS suite departure- Ryno organized 2 times where he escorted people off en-mass. But I bet a gold car would skip the wait regardless- I would try that to get off on your own. Once in Customs- on the RIGHT of the snaking line there's a suite line- you can see a sign. Although, it looked like the porter line on the left side was a little faster. As for the ice show suite seats- you still want to get there kind of early- they open the spot up 10min prior to the show AND there are TV cameras that block the view from a few of the seats.
