Ultra Premiere Code - P5L

Can anyone tell me what this means?

It is a casino offer from Carnival to book an Ultra Premier cruise. There are currently 2 ships/sail dates available. The offer comes with a certain amount of casino cash but you have to contact Carnival to find out how much. P5L is the code used to book the offer. The person booking the offer must have a qualifying VIFP number to book the offer (it is by invitation only).

Mine was P7L. Free interior and 200 cash. From what I hear these are awesome cruises for those lucky enough to get an invite and actually book. If you have done a premier, this is a step above.

I have code P7L as well. When I called to book, they told me free interior with $200 cash.

We usually always have PC7 (Premier Cruise) 7 . So if you have had a code PC5 before- I would imagine the code is the same for cash, just the P5L means ultra

I had P8L and the offer was a free ocean view room and $1000 cash.

Anyone else book the Breeze on December 5th?

1st, congratulations! You got a great deal!

Yesterday under my VIFP offer for the Ultra cruise, mine was P9L-when I called to book, I was told my cruise fare, for traveling solo, would be nearly $800 for a 1A-does this sound right to you, or to anybody else that may know? Granted, I was told I would receive $400, which would make the cruise half that (but in casino chips versus cash, since I only play slots?) I may need to call today for clarification?

Thanks to any and all in advance. Happy cruising!

That seems high for that code, but I don't understand the codes! I thought the higher the number, the cheaper the fare and greater the cash. At least, that's what other posts have led me to believe.

I did check the Breeze sailing this morning (posted in the "other" thread about the new Ultra & Premier offers).

It was $788 for a solo 1A with $300 casino cash for P4L. Fare was less than the ES rate, but only $80 less than my solo Premier cruise on 11/29 Sunshine which is a 4B. Breeze is 8 nights compared to 11 on Sunshine, so I'm sticking with my Premier/Journeys fabulous 8-port itinerary.

You do get cash, which you can then feed into the slots as you wish. You're under no obligation to spend it in the casino. Ha! Like that's going to happen on a Casino cruise, right? :p

PTC is just a casino rate, not something for a Premier or Ultra cruise. I've had those in the past. Fare was lower than past guest (this was before the days of ES, but I don't book ES anyway) with a little cash.

Mine was P5L for ultimate - Free Interior and 200 cash.

My Premier is PC7 - which is also free interior and 200 cash.

Incidently when I look at terms and conditions is specifically mentions cat 4 but refers to cash in broad terms, meaning to me that the amount of cash may be different in the same offer code, the offer code is just the level of cabin discount/comp that you get.

Obviously just my speculation.

  • 3 years later...

BTW looking back to last year, we were offered Ultra P5L , 2 times during the year which gave us $525. off a casino rate(still very expensive) and $1000. casino credit/cash.

We have never been offered free cabins unless it was a Bounce Back offer!

So I think even the same codes can mean different prices to different people!

Where do I deposit my $$$$ for one of these "free" casino cruises?

Oh.....I got it.... in the casino!!😊

Just my kind of humor!!    "Free...Free....Free....Free!!!

Has anyone ever had a "totally free" cruise???   Except on your motorboat!😎
