cruzintee Posted July 16, 2015 #1 Share Posted July 16, 2015 I just added the Sip & Sail package to our British Isle cruise next June. I have never had a drink package before. I noticed the Soda and More Package includes mocktails, shakes, floats and hot chocolate. These were not mentioned in the AIBP. Just wondering if they were included. Murphey Posted July 16, 2015 #2 Share Posted July 16, 2015 As I understand it, anything under $10 on any menu (except room service) is included in the package.

Pam in CA Posted July 16, 2015 #7 Share Posted July 16, 2015 You can also exchange the AIBP for $250. If you will be mainly getting sodas, coffee or shakes, that might be the better option for you.
caribill Posted July 16, 2015 #8 Share Posted July 16, 2015 Yes, any drink under $10, excluding room service. Also excludes cans/bottles that may be in your cabin when you board (part of room service) unless this is the Elite/Suite setup. And it excludes souvenir items and vending machine (in some gyms) items.

caribill Posted July 18, 2015 #14 Share Posted July 18, 2015 Unfortunately, the exchange option is only available on select cruises. I asked because we are not big drinkers and it isn't an option for ours. Kathy Not so. If you are on any cruise which has the Sip and Sail offer, the OBC can be substituted. The offer with the AIBP is offer R7A. The offer with the OBC is R7B. The fine print (which applies to this promotion): † All-Inclusive Beverage Package is applicable to voyages and cruise fares advertised in this promotion only, valid only for guests one and two per stateroom in balcony staterooms and above, and is not applicable during the land portion of Land & Sea Vacations. The All-Inclusive Beverage Package includes beer, cocktails, spirits and glasses of wine up to $10, all non-alcoholic beverages including bottled water, coffee, tea, and espresso specialty drinks A 15% gratuity is included in the offer. In addition a 40% discount on bottles of wine under $100 (gratuity not included on wine bottles) The All-Inclusive Beverage Package does not include souvenir items, room service, vending machine or mini-bar items. The All-Inclusive Beverage Package is available to guests one and two, who are 21 years or older. Guests one and two who are under 21 will receive the Soda and More Package. The package will be applied to the cruise card pre-boarding in the form of a sticker. The All-Inclusive Beverage Package and Soda and More Package are non-transferable and do not follow guests who change promotions prior to cruising. The package may be used on a single voyage only, is not redeemable for cash at any point during the cruise and expires at the end of that voyage. Offer is not transferable and may not be combinable with other select offers or other onboard credits. Package type will be assigned prior to sailing based on age of guest. In the event that the guest does not want the beverage package, alternative OBC amounts have been designated: Guests booking sailings 6-9 days can receive $150 per person. Guests booking sailings 10-12 days can receive $200 per person. Guests booking sailings 13+ days can receive $250 per person.
satxdiver Posted July 18, 2015 #15 Share Posted July 18, 2015 The sip & sail offer is great. We have a B2B in Europe with one being a TA. We took the OBC for the port intensive part of the cruise (10 day $200/pax) and the AIBP on the TA. Cheers!
RSF Cruiser Posted July 18, 2015 #16 Share Posted July 18, 2015 The first two times I called my travel agent to convert the AIBP to OBC I was told I couldn't do it, and the TA had checked with Princess. The third time I called I had the Princess website open with the fine print to the offer clearly stating how much OBC the offer is worth. Guess what? I got the beverage package converted to OBC... be persistent and know what's in the fine print.
