Cqis Posted July 17, 2015 #1 Share Posted July 17, 2015 We booked two per cabin for 8 people. Wanted to make sure we could all get booked at the lowest price. When is the best time to change room mates. Example Iris and Dottie, Faith and Judy, Dawn and Ethel. The change Iris and Faith , etc Can we make these changes when we check in are do we need to do this before sailing. Carnival Elation

springs741 Posted July 17, 2015 #3 Share Posted July 17, 2015 You absolutely want to make those changes after boarding. If you do it before, you could lose eligibility for the rate.

Carnival Elation Once on board just go to Guest Services with the passengers you're switching and their Sign n Sail cards... Just explain who is going to what cabin and they will do it there for you.. Everyone who is moving needs to be present.... Do not say a word until you are on the ship... lizardhowson Posted July 22, 2015 #7 Share Posted July 22, 2015 (edited) Do not say a word until you are on the ship... Actually, you can tell anyone you want about the fact you arranged occupants to get favorable discounts - as long as the occupants are checked into the cabins to retain the discounts when they board. Carnival is not gonna change the rates because you did this. Carnival actually doesn't care as long as you meet the rate criteria for each cabin fare when checking in. Cqis Posted July 23, 2015 Author #8 Share Posted July 23, 2015 We all have the same cabin category . No difference in price or insurance. We are just switching cabin mates.
