CutestLittleEvil Posted August 7, 2015 #151 Share Posted August 7, 2015 Dim Sum, pushed around on little carts to me while I'm at the casino or by the pool with a smattering of delectable selections. I can eat shrimp dumplings, taro cake and egg rolls all day long.
wampuscat7 Posted August 7, 2015 #152 Share Posted August 7, 2015 Is it technically popcorn though? My kids eat anything and LOVE popcorn and refused to eat it. We figured bad batch and tried again twice on other nights.Yuck. Cardboard is a great description. [emoji37] Too bad- it sure looks fun when served. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Huh. DH and I enjoyed some on Liberty, though that was a few years ago. Of course I also apparently ate a super old hot pretzel, so maybe my choice of food is suspect. Diplomacy Posted September 10, 2015 #167 Share Posted September 10, 2015 The junk food you can eat every day, why on a cruise. Including pizza and wings. Umm, no. Normal people do not eat Pizza and wings "every day." And whether they do or not, why should eating on a cruise, a supposedly all inclusive, luxury and indulgent experience have a little asterisk next to it that says *unless you like pizza. Besides, this is about snacking/grazing, not "what should we stick in the dining room on formal nights" so even if pizza were "too ordinary" to be consumed onboard a cruise as a meal(which is a truly bizarre idea... I guess eggs and fresh fruit and yogurt are all out for breakfast also?), it certainly would qualify as a nice snack.
Shipbound Posted September 10, 2015 #168 Share Posted September 10, 2015 I have not read all the posts but years ago there use to be bar snacks at the Bars around the ship, stuff like gold fish crackers, chips of all kinds. But Carnival stopped that because of food to hand contact, basically guests not washing their after going to the bathroom then putting their hands in a bowl of snacks. I think if you ask for snacks the bartender will give something and take it away when you leave. Gary

cruisinitaliano Posted September 10, 2015 #171 Share Posted September 10, 2015 I have not taken the time to read this whole thread... Just off the Miracle and the Sports Bar has Hot Fresh Baked Soft Pretzels with melted Cheese and Mustard for $1.25...are you kidding me!!! They were an everyday munchie for us. AND.. a nice 12 oz bag of Moody's peanuts, very good and also $1.25. I saw the pretzels mentioned as a wanted item, and peanuts, so thought I would mention we found them. FlyingCruiserNJ Posted September 11, 2015 #175 Share Posted September 11, 2015 WINGS Seriously. NCL has them as a feature at their onboard pubs 24/7 and I would guess Royal does also. Why Carnival does not offer them is completely beyond me. I think they said that the Breeze has them but I did not see them anywhere. They are not that hard to fry up and toss in sauce and they don't even have to be available everywhere, all the time but offer them somewhere during the day at some restaurant somewhere. That is one of my huge pet peeves about Carnival.
