pajazz28 Posted July 29, 2015 #1 Share Posted July 29, 2015 I am taking a cruise with my family and everyone wants to do El Yunque rainforest. We are in San Juan from 11am to 7pm on our stop. Does anyone know how far the rainforest is from the port? I like to book excursion on my own to save money if it is early and I run a minimal chance to miss the departure of the ship. Does anyone have any tour company at San Juan they have done a rainforest tour they recommend?
RayInPR Posted July 29, 2015 #2 Share Posted July 29, 2015 The drive from Old San Juan to El Yunque National Forest is approximately 90 minutes, depending on the time of day (traffic) and the route chosen (Route 3 versus Route 66).
ozarkmama Posted July 29, 2015 #3 Share Posted July 29, 2015 Look up Tours by Ellis on Craigslist or Facebook. We have used him twice and can't say enough good things about him. http://puertorico.en.craigslist.org/trv/5103069477.html
