WPTNGirl Posted July 30, 2015 #6 Share Posted July 30, 2015 Have you taken the bottles onboard in your carry-on bags since the new rules have been affect?
firemanbobswife Posted July 30, 2015 #7 Share Posted July 30, 2015 If they are powder - yes. If they are in bottles - no. Not since the new rules went into effect banning ALL types of bottled drinks with the exception if the standard wine bottle allowance.
ready2cruzagain Posted July 30, 2015 #8 Share Posted July 30, 2015 I take the powder in my checked luggage. No problem with that at all.
hftmrock Posted July 30, 2015 #9 Share Posted July 30, 2015 Does Carnival allow guest to bring protein shakes onboard? Thanks in 12 ounce CANS... yes no bottles at all or cans larger that 12 ounces.
dmdiver Posted July 30, 2015 #10 Share Posted July 30, 2015 A small quantity of non-alcoholic beverages (i.e., sparkling water, sodas, juice, and milk) packaged in cans or cartons may be brought onboard on embarkation day only in guests’ carry-on luggage. A small quantity is considered a maximum of 12 sealed, unopened cans/cartons of 12 ounces each or less per person. Premier Protein comes in cartons. They do have a screw on top, though. Anyone taken any on since the change in July?

Viesczy Posted September 8, 2016 #16 Share Posted September 8, 2016 I take powders and bars but haven't ever taken the bottled/canned shakes. Worst I could imagine would be the bottles falling under the list now.

payitforward Posted November 5, 2016 #20 Share Posted November 5, 2016 Good luck. I had the sleeve 2.5 years ago. Best thing I ever did. JGH1204, I'd love your thoughts, opinions and tips. I'm not even three weeks post-op yet, and am sailing on Allure of the Seas on November 27th. I've had no issues with most foods so far, and eat a lot of seafood. However, it will be very strange cruising without food being the central focus.
