stubborn peke Posted August 2, 2015 #1 Share Posted August 2, 2015 Received the UDP as a promo and have made dinner reservation for the various restaurants. As a Platinum will also receive 2 vouchers for dinner for 2 at Le Bistro or Lacucina with a bottle of wine for each dinner. Hence more dinner opportunities than available dates. Since it been mentioned that with the UDP promo the extra order menu cost are not being charged. Is the house wine a better deal or the extra menu? How is the vouchers being used. rvsullivan Posted August 2, 2015 #2 Share Posted August 2, 2015 We take our vouchers to whichever restaurant we are going to and take advantage of the "free" wine. No way to use the 9 available slots on a 7 day cruise. We just go where we plan and get free wine twice.
DMH15 Posted August 2, 2015 #3 Share Posted August 2, 2015 (edited) I have a question. I have UDP. But could I use my voucher to take someone with me who does not have UDP? This would be my using the cert on myself and a guest. Edited August 2, 2015 by DMH15

It is also sometimes possible to use your voucher for two other people, not saying it is guaranteed but definitely possible. In the past when I had the UDP I was personally able to use a voucher for two guests. The scenario you described is doable. If you and your spouse both have Platinum dinner vouchers and the UDP you could invite two guests to dinner and receive two bottles of wine with no questions asked using your two vouchers. Rochelle Thanks. Not married. I will be on the Jade with my sis and niece. I am the only platinum. I was thinking my niece could invite a new friend she meets onboard perhaps. Thanks! lovetrauma Posted August 3, 2015 #8 Share Posted August 3, 2015 Tried this on the Gen a few weeks ago and was to.d they no longer permit this. I tried speaking to everyone up to and including the Restaurant Mangager and Hotel Director during the Meet & Greet. So you might be lucky or not depending on how quick the message makes it down to the waiters / waitresses.

Thanks so much. Rochelle
