Chef's Table versus Specialty Restaurants Pacific Princess

Hi Everyone:

Looking for some direction concerning our upcoming cruise on The Pacific Princess around Tahiti. We have sailed before with Princess to Alaska(5 years ago) and 2 years ago with Celebrity to Bermuda. We don't cruise that often, unless the destination is best serviced by cruising, like Alaska and Bermuda.

We found Princess to have better dinning in the Main Dinning room and Celebrity had much better specialty dinning.

We are "foodies" but are not that critical as long as the service is there and the meals are prepared properly.

Question: Do we do Chef's Table, Sabitinis and Sterling's on the Pacific Princess or go with the Main Dinning room? The additional cost does not matter.

Thank you very much for all of your great feedback:

Happy Cruising.

The trouble with the Chef's Table on a small ship is that it does get a bit cramped in the galley. We did it on the PP with Princess' head chef at the time. But compared to the Chef's table on a large ship, it was not as desirable. The food was fine, the tour wasn't. But as you don't cruise often and money isn't a consideration, do it anyway. You'll enjoy it, no doubt.
