Mimai Cruie Port to Miami Airport

The taxi lines at the cruise port were horrendously long on departure day last year, I would like to organise the cheapest and most convenient way to get from Miami cruise port to Miami Airport in October 2015, is there a shuttle service I can pre book? Do Celebrity offer a coach service I can book once on board.

Any advice welcome.

A shuttle you will be waiting for the bus to fill before leaving

 

You could find others on your Roll Call & get a private car service

we used John's Car service for 6 of us

he was prompt & got us to the airport in no time

Cruise line bus usually costs $25+ per person (the cab is only $27 for the cab - 1 passenger or 4 it is the same price) and as mentioned above can take a LONG time to load and unload.

 

From POM to MIA, if you do not want to use a taxi, I would contact Super Shuttle or Larry's Limos.

I would go with the taxi.

 

I know you had a bad experience but most times there is very little to know wait for a taxi. Yes, once in awhile there is an exception.

If you do not have an early flight to catch. Take your time leaving the ship. Let the rush for a cab die down. Wife and I always wait until 9-9:15 before heading out. We have a cup of coffee, sit up on the Promenade or Lido deck, usually running into people we had dinner with.

There are tons of shuttles. We even booked one while standing around dithering & waiting for a taxi. It was a big comfy bus & it was cheaper then a cab. I don't remember the names of any of them but I must have seen at least 2 dozen different shuttle company names pass by us as we waited for our scheduled shuttle to FLL

I would think that from port to airport the Carnival buses would fill up pretty quickly. A lot of people leaving at the same time. :confused: I don't remember waiting long on any of my other cruises on any cruise line

Thanks for all your info, a few things for us to ponder, it always seems so chaotic and sad leaving a great cruise.
