What info are you looking for? Luke is a very popular and well-liked CD who has been around a long time, and there are many positive reviews of him here on CC. Try a search of his name on the RCI forum.

 

Or, are you looking for info on the length of his contract, and when/who he will be handing over CD duties to? My guess is that he is on a 4 month contract, and it's too soon to know which CD will be following him.

When he takes out the new ships, he is totally behind the scenes, supporting the regular CD/activities staff. We never saw him on Quantum, and wouldn't have known he was there if it wasn't for cruise critic

Too soon to know that, and it's difficult to even make a guess.

 

I thought that Jerome was the permanent CD on Allure, so I was surprised to learn that he moved to Navigator, even as a fill-in. Because he is multi-lingual, a good guess is that he'll be assigned to a European itinerary in the Spring. He is a good candidate for bringing out Harmony.

Gordon Whatman posted on his FB page that he will be coming out of 'retirement' for a little while and going to be on Ovation as she moves from Dubai to China, at the end of May 2016. He does not say for how long he will be staying on the ship, only that he will be on Ovation for 'some of the season'.

As of now, there is no info that he will be moving to another ship for another fill-in directly from Indy, but there are a lot of regular CDs taking breaks in November, so there are openings. The list has many loose ends through November that I am trying to tie up.

I'm surprised there are already two different CDs announced for Ovation yet we know nothing about Harmony. Has anyone heard anything?

I don't know anything, so this is just a guess from analyzing the trends: Jerome Sueur. He is multi-lingual, was a highly-successful CD on Allure in Europe, and is likely RCI's top candidate for the position.

 

We won't know until RCI makes an official announcement, or until one of the CDs announces it on social media or on their current ship.

Through November, there are lots of loose ends to tie up. Can anyone find out:

 

Allure: how much longer is Bobby onboard, and who will be following him? (Is he the new regular CD on Allure - meaning will he be doing regular 4 month contracts with 2 month breaks in between?)

 

Anthem: how much longer is Luke onboard, and who will be following him? (Is he the new regular CD on Anthem- meaning will he be doing regular 4 month contracts with 2 month breaks in between?)

 

Brilliance: how much longer is Clo onboard, and who will be following her?

 

Enchantment: who will be covering Marc's break beginning Nov 20?

 

Grandeur: who will be following Jeff on Nov 11?

 

Legend: how long will Keith be onboard?

 

Liberty: who is following Dru in November, and what is the exact handover date?

 

Mariner: who is following Jamie in November, and what is the exact handover date?

 

Oasis: who is following Drew in November, and what is the exact handover date?

 

Quantum: who is following Jimmy in November, and what is the exact handover date?

 

Serenade: who is following Carly on Nov 13?

 

Splendour: who is following Simona, and is Nov 28 the correct handover date?

Or perhaps he'll join Captain Johnny on Harmony for the Europe runs (the two of them seem to work very well together in that location based on our first-hand experience back in June)???
