corpkid Posted August 12, 2015 #1 Share Posted August 12, 2015 (edited) Checked the usual sources and they are blank this far out for our March 18th overnight in Shanghai... Just curious if anyone knows where it (or another R class) has docked before... Wusongkou, or the Shanghai port (near the Bund)? Many Thanks Edited August 12, 2015 by corpkid
no fuss travel Posted August 12, 2015 #2 Share Posted August 12, 2015 (edited) We docked at the Shanghai port opposite the Bund this past March. We were on the Nautica. Edited August 12, 2015 by no fuss travel
Tansy Mews Posted August 12, 2015 #3 Share Posted August 12, 2015 Smaller ships that can sail up the Huangpu River may dock at Shanghai Port International Cruise Terminal fairly close to the Bund. We did have to leave earlier than scheduled due to tides. Check out the photo.
corpkid Posted August 12, 2015 Author #4 Share Posted August 12, 2015 Thank you! I'm going to hope for the Shanghai port and start booking tours based on that assumption. Looks like the mass transit is fairly easy to use from that port.
Relaxing Rita Posted August 12, 2015 #5 Share Posted August 12, 2015 Near the Bund is where it docked when we were on Nautica... just so close to everything, we walked all around and walked back to the ship!! The journey into and out of the port is fantastic too.... one of the best ports I think. Enjoy...
