katree Posted August 14, 2015 #1 Share Posted August 14, 2015 Before my cruise I wasn't sure what package I wanted. So, now that I'm back I thought I'd share my experience in case someone else was wondering. I knew I wanted e-mail, as I don't do social media so I signed up for the value package. It did everything it said it would ( email, surfing, etc.) however it was slower than I am used to on ships (10th cruise) so, halfway into our trip I upgraded to the Premium tier. It is supposed to be 3x faster. I noticed no difference in speed at all. So, my final opinion is go with the value plan and be prepared for dial up speeds. katree Posted August 17, 2015 Author #3 Share Posted August 17, 2015 I was on at all times of the day, but as you would expect, first thing in the morning and all evening times were slower than mid-day.
