Louise245 Posted August 16, 2015 #1 Share Posted August 16, 2015 We will be on NCL Dawn Boston to Bermuda. I am trying to figure out if we bring our own wine to the dining room and pay the 15$ corking fee or if we chose from their wine list. Would someone be able to tell me approximately the price of the wine bottle in the dining room. Something like low to middle prices? I call NCL and purchase a bottle of scotch for the cabin, but they were not able to help me with the wine. Also is there the possibility of buying wine by the bottle on the ship to be consumed in the cabin. Thanks!
Rare All-ready2cruise Posted August 17, 2015 #2 Share Posted August 17, 2015 (edited) Here's the website for wine list/pricing https://www.ncl.com/onboard-gifts/wine BTW the list is fleetwide (except POA-Hawaii) and you can ask them to hold your bottles for you for dinner or take some back to your cabin for your personal consumsion. rydan Posted August 17, 2015 #3 Share Posted August 17, 2015 We found the wine selection on NCL to be very diversified. Prices were slightly less then I am used to paying at a local restaurant. And with the new Mondavi wine bar, I read there will be selections only available to NCL as (private vintage)
Louise245 Posted August 17, 2015 Author #4 Share Posted August 17, 2015 Thanks this is the info i cannot find on their site. Would I be buying these packages online before departure or once on board. There was no places on their site to buy the scotch, I had to call and ask. With the other cruise lines I used before it was easily found online. You can purchase a bottle or two of wine but it's at the regular price (you can save a bit with the packages). Also, you can only purchase them the 1st and 2nd day at any bar as well. They have like a "bar central" on deck 7 IIRC. Enjoy your cruise Edited August 17, 2015 by All-ready2cruise
