Rare LMaxwell Posted September 3, 2015 #1 Share Posted September 3, 2015 Do the front deck areas in front of the 4J rooms have any chairs out on the deck area? How do you access these areas; just go to end of the corridor and there is an obvious door?
kteachcruiser52 Posted September 3, 2015 #2 Share Posted September 3, 2015 We had a 4J on the Valor. You go through 2 sets of doors to get toothed front deck - much like an airlock entry. The doors are heavy. There is one of the wooden benches with the ship's name on the front deck. It does not have chairs. it was a little windy when out at sea, but it is a great place for pictures going into or out of port. We have went out on these decks on a couple of other ships and none had chairs. Someone wrote they took the bagged chairs and used them out there. This would only be feasible if driving. I liked the outside light for an inside price. We were right below the bridge and for navigational reasons the curtains had to be kept closed at night. ladygal4.4 Posted September 3, 2015 #3 Share Posted September 3, 2015 Those doors are really heavy if it's windy. And no chairs. Just a bench Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Romansky1 Posted September 7, 2015 #4 Share Posted September 7, 2015 As previous posters indicated there are no chairs, but there are two benches. It does get windy out there, but it is so beautiful to see when you are going and coming from any port or just out at sea. I don't know what 4J means, but we were in an interior room right near the doors and it became our own private balcony for most of the trip. It is awesome!!! Not just during the day, but some of the prettiest star filled skies at night. Simply relaxing and beautiful.
