Flat screen tv on dawn princess

Now the dawn has been in drydock, has anyone cruised on her since then?? I just got off the sun and loved the on demand tv system in our cabin. Such a wonderful improvement from before. Also, did the dawn get an international cafe in the atrium and updated coffee and cake section in horizon. I'm doing the 42 night cherry blossom in 2017, and having these small luxuries really make a cruise special. If the dawn is still jaded on the inside, I might consider changing my mind. I would appreciate your feedback.

I suggest you post on the 'Australian and NZ cruises' section of this forum. It is further down the page from the 'Princess Cruises' section. There is already a thread on 'Dawn Princess post drydock'.

 

I agree with you about the 'on demand TV' that has been installed on the Sun Princess. I do not know if it is on the Dawn yet but I am sure someone will be able to answer the question.

The TVs are not interactive. You can see your room bill on the ship's intranet, without using minutes.

 

I have not been on the Dawn before, so can't speak to changes in the Horizon Court, but there was a moderately extensive coffee menu in the Horizon Court. The coffee area is part of the Amuletto café.

 

Again, I don't what the Dawn had previously, but there was a "coffee bar" in the Atrium, Deck 5.

 

We just go off the Dawn Sept 6.
