Carnival Dream cabins 7405, 7407, 7415

Our family will be cruising on the Carnival Dream and we have these three cabins next to each other. We would like to know if anyone knows if the balcony partitions can be opened so we have one large balcony. We were on the Carnival Freedom last week and two of our cabins had the balcony doors next to each other so the partition could not be opened. We already called Carnival but the rep told us that we would have to wait until we get on the ship and ask the cabin steward. Thanks for your any information on this "dilemma". :)

Hi :)

Cabin 7405 balcony partition connects (opens) to cabin 7407.

Cabin 7415 balcony partition connects (opens) to cabin 7417.

Hi Omadutchess :)

In my earlier reply to your post here when I wrote that:

Cabin 7405 balcony partition connects (opens) to cabin 7407.

Cabin 7415 balcony partition connects (opens) to cabin 7417.

I forgot to write that:

Cabin 7407 & 7415 are (connecting staterooms).

7407 & 7415 also mirror one another, which would cause one of the balcony partitions to block one of the cabin balcony doors from opening all of the way. Of course all balcony partitions open, but only between voyages on turnaround day when crew are hosing down the balconies.

Cabin 7405 & 7407 you will have no issues at all. But 7407 & 7415 there might be an issue. However, there have been instances where stewards have accommodated passengers in this case with 2 connecting staterooms where the balcony partitions are not supposed to be opened because one of the balcony doors would be blocked by the partition, and have opened it upon request & or appoval concerning one of the balcony doors being blocked.

The point I'm trying to make is that, cabin 7415's balcony partition is not suppose to be opened to cabin 7407 except for turnaround day between cruises for balcony cleaning purposes when it ok to block one of the balcony doors, but it can't hurt to ask your cabin steward.

As long as rooms are adjacent and not connecting there is a possibility the dividers can be opened or removed. In order for the dividers to be opened rooms must be laid out exactly and can't be mirror images of each other like they are at connecting rooms.

Hi Sweet Dutch Girl, just curious. Are you from the Netherlands? I am.

Hi Port Side Crusan, it info was so helpful. Is there a certain link you can provide me to see other ships' layouts like the one you sent me off the Dream? I tried to look up Elation, but it gives me error. Thanks. :)

Hi Omadutchess :)

I use the Goccl website. The easiest way is to go to Google & Goccl search. From Google you can Goccl search so many things.

(For example): Go to Google & type in:

Goccl Elation

Goccl Breeze

Goccl Dream

Goccl Chef's Table

Goccl Sail & Sign

Goccl Playlist Productions

Goccl Bottomless Bubbles

Goccl Smoking Policy

Goccl Breeze Deck 7

Goccl Elation Ship Features & Public Area's

And so on, and so on...

I hope that helps you,

Have a terrific day!
