rc_rosealetta Posted September 14, 2015 #1 Share Posted September 14, 2015 Will be getting back into port on 10/23 off of the Majesty of the Seas. Looking for recommendations on a hotel to stay at for the night since our flight doesn't leave until the next morning. Looking for one that offers a decent breakfast and possibly a shuttle to the airport (or a cheap taxi ride there if it isn't far). Budget is around $150/night. Looking for a decent hotel with various things to do within walking distance such as shops or restaurants. Will be getting into port early in the morning, so having a hotel that will allow early check-in or be able to watch our bags while we explore would be great. Pre-cruise hotel is the intercontinental, but was unable to get that for a similar price to what I'm paying pre-cruise. Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated. :)

JohninDC Posted September 15, 2015 #3 Share Posted September 15, 2015 No hotel in downtown Miami or Miami Beach with "various things to do within walking distance such as shops or restaurants" will offer a free airport shuttle - plan on a $25-30+ cab ride. If you stay in South Beach and your flight time is not too early you could ride the airport flyer bus to MIA for under $3 each: http://www.miamidade.gov/transit/bus-airport-flyer.asp
