bury me at sea Posted September 25, 2015 #2 Share Posted September 25, 2015 (edited) I have noticed a few might become available around final payment date. Glad your persistence paid off. Edited September 25, 2015 by bury me at sea
loveto2step Posted September 25, 2015 #3 Share Posted September 25, 2015 We're leaving April 10, out of Galveston, on the Magic. I've been checking every day for the FTTF and no luck so far. Am I wasting my time this early? Should I just check only so many months out, and if so, how many months out?
Rare 2Ccruisers Posted September 25, 2015 #4 Share Posted September 25, 2015 Where exactly do we look for FTTF? Under shore excursions?
retiredgram Posted September 25, 2015 #5 Share Posted September 25, 2015 Where exactly do we look for FTTF? Under shore excursions? Yes, under shore excursions. We booked 10 months ago and are sailing Sunday, just got FTTF 2 days ago. We had checked everyday and nothing, but all of sudden there it was. I would never have thought that close to sailing we would get one.

christinacruisin Posted September 25, 2015 #8 Share Posted September 25, 2015 Good for you!!! I just bought FTTF this week too for our Jan. cruise. Now, if January would just hurry up and get here, I'd be happy!!!

It's never too early and mainly depends on whether its just not listed under excursions or if it's listed but says Sold Out. If it's not listed then it just hasn't been published to the excursion list yet, but it will eventually be there soon. I've been able to purchased FTTF more than a year away on some sailings, had to wait until 7 months on others. It's hit or miss but keep checking and it will eventually appear. Am I wasting my time this early? Should I just check only so many months out, and if so, how many months out? Our cruise is for next August. I booked it early August of this year and FTTF was available when I booked. Of course, I snatched it up. Makes things so much easier.;)

retiredgram Posted September 26, 2015 #12 Share Posted September 26, 2015 Don't forget to RE-print out your boarding passes and luggage tags so the FTTF logo is on there. I had reprinted my luggage tags and about an hour later, thought, wait a minute I have to go back and reprint my boarding pass. :o Thanks for the reminder though, someone else might need that info. aflyingbuttress Posted September 26, 2015 #13 Share Posted September 26, 2015 When you all go back and check for FTTF are you logging into your account over and over? I load mine from favorites and I'm already signed in and it shows sold out. Wondering if there's any chance I'd miss it by not logging in.
jennifur25 Posted September 26, 2015 #14 Share Posted September 26, 2015 We booked last week for Mar 2016 and when I go to Excursions and click on our departure port it says there are no excursions listed for that port. In the drop down menu on the side it says Faster to the Fun (0). Nowhere does it say sold out. Does that mean it hasnt been released?
aflyingbuttress Posted September 26, 2015 #15 Share Posted September 26, 2015 It may not be there yet but make sure you are not selected on a specific port day. I noticed that FTTF says 0 if I've filtered by a port. It's only available for the home port, first day.
jennifur25 Posted September 26, 2015 #16 Share Posted September 26, 2015 This is what I see on the left when I go to excursions: And this is what I see when I click on New Orleans: Am I looking in the wrong place? Because it doesnt say Sold Out anywhere.
aflyingbuttress Posted September 26, 2015 #17 Share Posted September 26, 2015 You're looking in the right place. I'm no expert on this but I'm guessing it either means they aren't offering it for your cruise (no idea if that's a thing), or that they just haven't posted it yet. jennifur25 Posted September 26, 2015 #18 Share Posted September 26, 2015 Thank you! So if it was sold out, it should actually say that? That gives me hope then! ) I have also emailed about being put on a waitlist.
flatlander321 Posted September 27, 2015 #19 Share Posted September 27, 2015 (edited) We're sailing from Vancouver next spring on the Legend. Carnival had a list of ports where FTTF is offered (somewhere in the help/FAQ section). Vancouver was not on the list. If anyone knows that it will be offered for our cruise, please post so I can start watching for it.
