js Posted October 1, 2015 #1 Share Posted October 1, 2015 Hi. We will be on the 8 night Breeze sailing end of January. We have three adults in our cabin so we want to purchase the length of cruise pass for the third person. With tip, does anyone know how much this will cost? I would like to have the cash available and pay down my SS card on the ship. Thanks so much!
KenMo Posted October 1, 2015 #2 Share Posted October 1, 2015 According to Carnival's FAQs, an 8 day spa pass is $189pp.
js Posted October 2, 2015 Author #3 Share Posted October 2, 2015 According to Carnival's FAQs, an 8 day spa pass is $189pp. Thanks. Is that with the tip? Thanks again. I really appreciate it.
KenMo Posted October 2, 2015 #4 Share Posted October 2, 2015 I don't know anything about a tip with the spa pass. The pass gives you access to the thermal suites, t-pool, etc. There is nobody to tip. If you get pay for services, like a massage, then you could tip whatever you feel is appropriate.

Although I understand and agree with your reasoning, there is still an 18% tip added, so wasn't sure if that number included it or not. Thanks so much! coevan Posted October 2, 2015 #6 Share Posted October 2, 2015 The tip is added for spa services, not on the $
js Posted October 2, 2015 Author #7 Share Posted October 2, 2015 The tip is added for spa services, not on the $189 OK, thank you. I thought I read a big discussion on here about it being added even though just use of the room but I just got off DCL and have a RCCL and NCL cruise booked so maybe I'm just confusing the cruiselines. Doesn't take much for me. Glad to know $190 is the full amount. Thank you all.
jdcml Posted October 2, 2015 #8 Share Posted October 2, 2015 All indications from the CCL site are that there is no gratuity with that extra pass. For guests who do not purchase a Spa Stateroom but would like to use the Thalassotherapy Pool and Thermal Suite, we offer day and week long passes that can be purchased on board at the Cloud 9 Spa. · Daily Pass: $40 per guest · Passes for Cruise Duration: Ø 6-day cruise: $139 per guest / $239 per couple Ø 7-day cruise: $149 per guest / $249 per couple Ø 8-day cruise: $159 per guest / $268 per couple

wrcjr98 Posted October 3, 2015 #12 Share Posted October 3, 2015 I thought if you purchased a spa cabin, the spa pass came with it?

jdcml Posted October 3, 2015 #14 Share Posted October 3, 2015 Sorry, didn't notice a price difference. My guess is that the higher rate is accurate! Here's the other site though: https://www.goccl.com/~/media/Files/Irman/bookccl/shipboard_knowledge/DR_Cloud9Spa.htm
