Webcam is back(and improved).

Beach looks back to "normal". Or what I would call full beach. Rocks are back to being covered with sand.

Yes A webcam is back. This one is managed and controlled by different team. This is a PTZtv live streaming cam. They have several others including one at the port in St Maarten http://www.ptztv.com

I have been enjoying great views of the planes since Friday when it went LIVE.

We are planning a trip to Maho Beach on Tuesday August 23, 2016. Is there an optimum time of day for aircraft arrivals and departures ? We are taking a 6 hour private tour with Bernard's and wanted to make sure we might be able to see the most aircraft action while allowing time to get back long before a 6 PM departure. We can start the tour anytime. Thanks Gerry.

Don't worry, Benards will know when to be there.

Generally early afternoon is when most of the larger planes come and go.

You will have no problem getting back by 6.

Gerry ~ On Tuesdays the large KLM jet arrives from Amsterdam about 11:15 am so that is a good one to see. Bernard is on top of things for sure :)

Thank you. That answers my concerns. Hope we get there this year. Last August our Oasis itinerary was rerouted west and we missed St. Thomas and St. Maarten. Gerry

On August 23, the KLM 747 is scheduled for a 10:55 arrival, and it could arrive 45 minutes earlier than that, in my own experience. :(
