Bases5 Posted October 17, 2015 #1 Share Posted October 17, 2015 I have a few questions about BB offers Is there a lot of restrictions? I just got my first one. When i called I had a few date's and ships in mind. All of them got shot down That cruise in unavailable No that cruise is unavailable and so on. Then when I (settled) on a cruise I asked about upgrades. She told me there were restrictions there also. Example could not upgrade to a 6j. I ask how much it would cost and she said I couldn't at all Balcony I could not up grade to a aft balcony at all under the BB offer I could just book it normally but not with the BB Should I get a PVP would that help? Or should I just be happy with a free cruise and shut it. Do you all find there is a lot of restrictions.

I called for both of them. The first, there were several options available. I had the opportunity for an Alaskan cruise. For that one, I had the option of upgrading to a balcony for an additional fee. For the second offer, the list of cruises was a lot smaller. I requested any west coast departure and requested a 7 day. All that was available were 3 and 4 day cruises out of Long Beach. I think there are restrictions based on how many BB have been booked and ship availability.

The offers were for free interior cabins and I was always able to pay and upgrade to balcony cabins. I was always able to get the ship and cruise itinerary that I requested. Now it's much more difficult. They tell me that, there are many cruises where you can not use a BB offer. If the ship is selling well or almost full you wont be able to use the BB offer. I have a great PVP and he tried and he couldn't get what I wanted either. Good luck.
huntm Posted December 11, 2015 #4 Share Posted December 11, 2015 We booked one last year. Chose our cruise on the last day available. We choose a Christmas cruise. Upgraded to a balcony and then to a suite. No issues at all. The BB we got this year. Received it on Monday and tried to book on Thursday. ALL 7 day cruises were not available. They are capacity controlled and already snatched up. We finally found a 4 day we could take, but only option was to upgrade to a suite.... So we did :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Check out my cruise blog: http://Www.whenshiphappens.com
