bearkatsmom Posted October 27, 2015 #1 Share Posted October 27, 2015 September 24,2016 we are sailing on the Carnival Freedom. Strange question we are staying close to the terminal. Due to cost of parking at the hotel we thought of parking the day before near anyway. Can we book are parking for Sept 23-Oct 1. We can shuttle to the terminal from the hotel. spookwife Posted October 27, 2015 #2 Share Posted October 27, 2015 the problem I see with that is offsite locations will not have any open slots due to the fact that everyone currently on a cruise will not be back yet to pick their cars up. Sonnieb Posted November 15, 2015 #6 Share Posted November 15, 2015 ..... or you could contact the parking lot to ask them directly. My personal thought is that they would not, guessing that they are not on duty until a cruise returns. Also, if they do allow it, they may not be able to allow a person to have unlimited access for their vehicle (like in & out parking at some parking lots/garages). Hawaiifrank Posted November 16, 2015 #7 Share Posted November 16, 2015 We plan to book a hotel with cruise/park rate in Galveston. Anyone have a suggestion? We're staying at County Inn and Suites in Galveston. For one nights stay, you get up to 30 days parking. Since we are on a 3 week back-to-back-to-back, it's perfect. They also provide complementary breakfast and free shuttle to and from the port. You need to request the park and cruise package. Our night's stay and 21 days parking is about the same as parking alone at the port would cost.
bearkatsmom Posted April 18, 2016 Author #8 Share Posted April 18, 2016 We have opted to do a cruise/park hotel. Away from the sea wall. We had a horrible accident near the Gálvez in January. I am still afraid of going near it. We got hit on my side of the car.

Our cruise is only 5 days, so IDK if it would be cost effective for us to do this, but it's great info! Thanks for sharing!
