jennraycruise Posted October 30, 2015 #1 Share Posted October 30, 2015 I booked 2 weeks ago. And now the price for the same cruise on the Victory in January is 100$ less than when I booked. Am I just out of luck???
mumtopugs Posted October 30, 2015 #2 Share Posted October 30, 2015 Give them a call to change it. You should get the new rate and also the casino perks. There was a thread earlier about this and another poster was successful in changing.

Am I just out of luck??? Call your PVP or Carnival and ask for the new price. And your casino offer might have casino cash to claim. evandbob Posted October 30, 2015 #8 Share Posted October 30, 2015 Just saved $90 PP on a casino rate. How do you know if you get fun chips or any other casino perks. Thanks There should be a letter waiting for you in your cabin when you first board the ship. A welcome party, a bottle of wine, a bottle of champagne, cookies, choclate strawberries, drinks on us card, special tournaments and drawings for cash prizes and a free cruise for 2. One has to be present in the casino to win when they have the drawings and I was surprised that several people had their names called (one for $1,100) who weren't available. That prize was then rolled into the next drawing for $1,800.

Thanks The premier, elite, and select casino offers usually come with casino cash, but it doesn't show how much online. You have to call and ask either your PVP or the 800 number. Good luck! Alabaster Cruiser Posted October 30, 2015 #11 Share Posted October 30, 2015 On the select offers are the significant others included? Do they get DOU cards and are they included to the Welcome party? Got my first offer today!

cruzn buckeye Posted October 30, 2015 #13 Share Posted October 30, 2015 On the select offers are the significant others included? Do they get DOU cards and are they included to the Welcome party? Got my first offer today! I got my first select offer this week. I would also like to know the same thing. Also, when they have the private tournaments on select and premier sailings,do you get an automatic entry, or do you still pay? I emailed the casino and was told that table players comps are based on win/loss. Not the 1500 points that slot players need.

cruzn buckeye Posted October 31, 2015 #15 Share Posted October 31, 2015 Carnival Players Club Premier players are players who have accumulated at least 7,500 points during the last 12 months. 1500 points gives you a DOU (drinks on us) I have read the same. On my cruise last month, i got the dou card on day 4. i only play Blackjack. No other games, no slots. I have Premier offers and Select offers. i emailed the players club to see what point level i reached. I was told that since I am a table player, i am comped based on win/loss. The number they gave me is actually lower that the amount ahead that i came home with. So,i am a bit confused by that. They told me that as a table player, the 1500 points are not involved. So, I have no idea what point level i hit... :)
Namelocg Posted October 31, 2015 #16 Share Posted October 31, 2015 What is the difference between Primier, Select and Elite offers. I am doing my 4th Premier cruise this year on the Breeze next Saturday but have never heard of the other offers. I got an offer for the Ultra Premier but the dates didn't work for me. AmberTeka Posted October 31, 2015 #17 Share Posted October 31, 2015 (edited) It is a mystery to me when and how casino offers go out. And I know thousands of people have posted the same. We did get one last summer. We booked a cruise on the Sunshine for Christmas. And we are in a great cabin that would cost us $600 more today. But we also booked a cruise on Princess. They gave us a casino offer I did not even know we had. It was 30% off of the lowest price of a balcony cabin, plus paid gratuities, a little OBC, a dinner in the Steakhouse...and it was for for a Panama Canal cruise. Suddenly, we could afford that balcony. I am still pinching myself over that one. It is not until late 2016. Then RCI, which we have never sailed on, had a low, low rate for FOS for fall of 2016. . I called the online TA that is very together great travel deals sometimes. Turned out the low rate was legitimate. they had bought cabins for fall sailings, now unloading some of them. I checked three other travel sources and then the RCI board and the cost for a balcony was double the rate that agency was offering. So I booked that. We have never set foot in a RCI casino, so my husband is looking forward to that. (He NEVER sets foot in land based casinos, and he breaks even on most cruises. He only plays roulette, and I think he enjoys watching about as much as playing. ANd then, Sometimes he wins.) MY point. While I appreciate those offers, and God Willing will have a great time on them..IF Carnival had made offers to us........due to the close proximity of FIVE ports. We would have gone Carnival. And with Princess Carnival gets the money anyway I always wonder how they give out casino offers. And again, I appreciate every one of them. I am not whining. Just curious. I always read these threads about it and still don't understand it. Edited October 31, 2015 by AmberTeka
ksy8384 Posted November 1, 2015 #18 Share Posted November 1, 2015 For our upcoming cruise my husband had a casino offer that got us a great rate. How do we know what "level" it is? For what it's worth we have never qualified for the DOU card. We are just happy we got a great rate but extra's would be nice too.
SadieN Posted November 1, 2015 #19 Share Posted November 1, 2015 On the select offers are the significant others included? Do they get DOU cards and are they included to the Welcome party? Got my first offer today! Each offer is good for the person and one companion. The Casino Cash is only for the person. If there's a third in the cabin, Third would only get the gimmes if both One and Two were given offers.

thewynn Posted November 3, 2015 #21 Share Posted November 3, 2015 I have a question about this- we booked using the "Casino Offer". The details say "Exclusive Casino Offer" and " Casino Cash may be distributed in the form of cash, onboard credit or non-refundable onboard credit as determined by Carnival in its sole discretion. " The offer itself doesn't give a value of the Casino Cash, when I booked with the Casino Offer it was a better price anyway so I thought that was the benefit but now I am wondering if I will be given Casino Cash? Would it say somewhere if I was getting Casino Cash? Thanks
evandbob Posted November 3, 2015 #22 Share Posted November 3, 2015 I think the casino cash given is determined by previous play. I got $300, I read someone else got $1,000. I had to present my S&S card to the casino cashier to collect.

Also, If you have any literature regarding casino offers you've received in the mail or emails..print them out..I would take those and show them to the casino host.
