Carnival/Falmouth

I thought Falmouth was a Rccl port so to speak. I see Carnival is doing some porting there.

I wonder if they have to subsidize RCI for stoping there.

Or does RCI just have first dibs and if the port is unused then it's open game.

Any one know

Falmouth is indeed a Royal Caribbean built port, but it's used by other cruise lines as well. And yes, Royal benefits any time that a ship from another cruise line calls there.

This wouldn't be the first time that Carnival calls at a Royal Caribbean built port. A few months ago, Carnival ships were calling at Coco Cay.

Tortola does the same with NCL and Disney (as they paid for the expansion work). While they have rite of 1st refusal. Other cruise lines (including Carnival) have used the port. We loved Tortola when we went there on the Breeze last year.
