sheets?

:confused: I have traveled on 7 cruises with Carnival and am trying the CB in December. Since Princess is new to me I would like to know about the sheets onboard?

Are they comfortable and soft? At home I have my own brand that doesn't itch my skin ( I am very sensitive) and am thinking about bringing my own. Would that be a problem also? How often do they change sheets in your room?

They change them on turnaround day, unless you request otherwise.

 

I don't see why you couldn't bring your own.

 

I would describe them as soft, ordinary hotel sheets, of about average quality -- not scratchy. I understand they are going to be upgrading the bedding, though.

Princess is upgrading the sheets and towels for the minisuites and suites. I have not heard of any upgrade occuring for the other cabins. Those cabins the sheets are quite ordinary, nothing special.

Two issues that could cause iritations-the material AND the soap/softeners that are used in the laundry process. If you have a problem at some hotels, then I would bring a set. Don't want to ruin a great vacation.

Keep in mind if you are thinking of bringing your own sheets that they may not fit very well. Most cruiseline beds are slightly smaller than a regular twin bed and the mattresses are not nearly as thick as the mattresses that are sold to consumers nowadays.

Thank you for all your input. Still haven't decided whether to bring my own but not as worried now. :)
