Cruisin 4 Ever Posted December 3, 2015 #52 Share Posted December 3, 2015 It's weird how so many people are making it sound like the OP is asking for some kind of special privilege. I think what they are saying is it would be nice to have a Canadian resident sale. Big deal, why all the angry comments?
stoddaj1 Posted December 3, 2015 #53 Share Posted December 3, 2015 Totally understand your feelings about our exchange rate at the moment. Our last cruise was our first on Celebrity. Pricing was in Canadian dollars plus we received a drink package. The price worked out the same as we paid for our last Carnival cruise when we included what we spent on drinks, the wine package etc. However, we did come out on top because we were able to purchase $25 US OBC for $27 Canadian. Clearly this was a bonus for us and allowed us to spend a bit more freely once on board. I wish Carnival would do the same. That said, we are cruising the Breeze this spring because we missed the comedy shows and enjoyed the dining room less. But we are back in an interior room due to the cost.
