Rum Cakes

Depends. I think they are gross and overpriced for the little piece of cake that's in the box. You'll also find that you can find Tortuga Rum Cakes onboard as well as at many port and airports throughout the Caribbean, and even many places in the US.

Some people love them. It's a matter of taste, of course.

Remember seeing lots of people buying these. Are they good or more just a souvenir?

While all food preferences are subjective, I happen to like the original Tortuga Golden Rum Cakes a lot. I usually purchase a couple small ones for gifts and large ones for me - particulary to use under fresh strawberries.

Yes, they are available in multiple places. I price them on the ship and then at ports. Usually there is very little difference in price, except at US airports (more expensive)
