Just a few days ago, we returned from a wonderful cruuse aboard the Sunshine. As usual, they put a copy of my sail and sign account under our cabin door during our last night aboard. Everything was as it should have been, no surprise charges, so I folded up the print-out and put it in my purse. Today, I went on line to check my credit card charges and discovered that I had been charged an additional $70. I called Carnival Customer Service and was told I had been charged for a robe and towels. I didn't even use the robe and beach towels, much less take them home. They quickly agreed to refund the $70. Just a heads-up.

That's crazy! One of the reasons why I only do a cash account. No erroneous charges, and I use my 10% off gift cards to pay for the cruise and everything onboard.

Yes..it's a hassle to have to call, but they WILL remove those kinds of charges. I think they do it, hoping folks won't take the time to call! I've had stuff like that happen in hotels, too....the charge is ALWAYS reversed.

That happened to me on my 3rd cruise. An extra $20 or so was charged after the cruise. I called, and they said it was the in-room beverages, which I did not open or take, so they reversed it.
